TRAINING FOR LEADERSHIP; EDUCATING FOR SERVICE; ENVISIONING FOR MINISTRY!

Attending The Living Way Academy has been enjoyable from start to finish and I have been greatly impressed with the Academy, the content of the courses and the standard of the resident and visiting lecturers.

The morning praise and worship encouraged us greatly - as we were led into the presence of God each day before our studies. We have learnt exactly what we needed this year, as God’s anointing was on the teachings and the Academy. All the courses are Spirit led, so we find that not only have we learnt things - but we have been changed by them - ‘transformed by the renewing of our minds.’ Having the words, concepts and ideas engraved on our hearts.

The Principal Dr. Eryl Cooke is an exceptional mentor, and an inspirational teacher. Her dedication and anointed teaching has prompted us on to greater things. The curriculum she provided was relevant, pertinent and excellent. The content of the courses has provided us with the tools required for developing a thoughtful and thorough grounding in Christian life. It has also allowed us to recognise and answer the call of God.

The philosophy of the Academy has taught what it means to Ask, Seek and find. This year has certainly opened doors for me - to a new life. It has built my confidence in tackling situations that God has asked of me. This confidence is essentially from the teaching I have received. One of the major benefits, I acquired, is the fundamental way I interpret biblical passages and verses. Greater scriptural understanding is acquired through interrogation, seeking answers through the tools we have been given, especially from the lexicon and Bibliology modules.

The guest lectures, mostly practising Pastors/leaders have provided us with relevant inspirational, knowledge, experiences, expertise and teaching. We have experienced both classroom teaching and practical evangelical activities on the streets of Tonypandy.

The Academy has a very supportive relaxed and loving atmosphere. The camaraderie between the students and the staff has helped us all progress, academically, expressively and spiritually. The teaching methodology has encouraged many enthusiastic debates, on our subjects, current events and past experiences. It had been a privilege getting to know both, staff and students as they are all men and women of God.

In summation I would enthusiastically endorse the Academy and the courses to anyone who is seeking a closer understanding and relationship with God. I have attended other Universities and many professional seminars and conferences, but none has compared with the level of inspirational Teaching, Modula structure or dedication that I have found in The Living Way Academy.
