Assessments and Examinations

TRAINING FOR LEADERSHIP; EDUCATING FOR SERVICE; ENVISIONING FOR MINISTRY!

During the course lecturers will set multiple choice papers, essays and projects. There will also be a twenty five minute presentation given by the student at the culmination of the communication module of the course. In total the course work will count for 50% of the overall grade. At the end of the third term, final examinations will make up the rest of the assessment.

            Grades will be awarded according to the following system:

PASS                            50 – 54%

MERIT                         55 - 59%  

CREDIT                       60 – 69%

DISTINCTION           70% and over

Marks will be awarded by content, style and research. Students who do not own a computer system will not be penalized for hand written reports but are able to use the computers  provided at the Academy which have Broadband internet access for research.

 Grades will be deducted when the students do not hand in the assignments on the deadline set.
