The Living Way Academy is a Bible College based in South Wales, which has existed since 1992. There is a friendly atmosphere where the students are encouraged to find their identity in God and also in the Body of Christ.
The building has been extensively renovated and boasts a computer suite, a modern well equipped kitchen and a social room that students may use. L.W.A is only five minutes walk from Tonypandy Town Centre and just minutes from the local bus and train stations.
It is the aim of the Academy to combine both practical aspects of the Christian life with Biblical study. The Academy endeavors to train labourers who will bring in the Kingdom of God to the place where God has called them. There is a strong emphasis on the importance of understanding and implementing the word of God which we believe to be truth. The Academy exists to mature God’s people for ministry and to equip them to serve God anywhere. This involves practical skills, growth in Christian character and the pursuit of Spirit imparted gifts. Students are encouraged to enhance their local church and to impact the wider community. Many of our former students have been released into mission, pastoral, youth work and pioneering. Our desire is to see people leave the academy fully equipped to accomplish their destiny.
There are various types of courses offered which are available to people from every walk of life. We are more interested in God’s people being trained rather than obtaining academic qualifications. It is for this reason that we have such a variety of courses. Whatever your capabilities, role in the church or current commitments we can offer you a course that will build, motivate and inspire you.

The Open
College Network (OCN) is the leading credit-based awarding body in the UK,
offering high quality, flexible, credit-based qualifications. We originate from
the Open College Network (OCN) movement first established in 1975 to formally
recognise the achievements of adult learners. We work with national and local
organisations (industry, government, employers and education providers) to
develop and widen access to high quality and flexible education, training and
learning.
OCN is an innovative and progressive national awarding body. We are a
recognised awarding body by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA) in
England, the Council for Curriculum, Examinations and Assessment (CCEA) in
Northern Ireland and the Qualifications, Curriculum and Assessment Authority (ACCAC)
in Wales, since 2000.
We support learning and widen opportunity by recognising achievement through
credit based courses and qualifications.
